Yes please, I need some of this today.  How about you?  GOD is a GOD who reminds us who we are in HIM and HE remakes us because:

GOD DOES ALL THINGS WELL!

In the early morn by your tree and all the twinkle lights, remind yourself as you read HIS word that HIS gentle kindness and favor have followed you so far, all the days of your life!  Be assured Christian!

ISAIAH 49:  15  “EVEN THESE MAY FORGET, YET I WILL NOT FORGET YOU.”

Oh, we may cry out in the midst of our troubles and ask “GOD where are YOU?”  But HE never ever leaves our sides.  HE has not forgotten us, because GOD’S character is pure purpose in love!  There is purpose in our pain and purpose in our joy.  And like a loving earthly Father, HE reaches down with HIS “there, there” and meets us right where we are.  HIS calming presence we crave and HIS love and grace meets us right where we are.

THE DAILY ADVENT OF CHRISTMAS IS IMMANUEL, GOD WITH US.

MATTHEW 1:  23   “BEHOLD, THE VIRGIN SHALL CONCEIVE AND BEAR A SON, AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME IMMANUEL (WHICH MEANS, GOD WITH US).”

What a calm reassurance to know that no matter what our eyes see and whatever our ears hear in this busted up, broken down world, that GOD is with us, always and forever, into eternity.  HIS kingdom reigns now and forever.

JOHN 1:  12   “BUT TO ALL WHO BELIEVED HIM, AND ACCEPTED HIM, HE GAVE THE RIGHT TO BECOME CHILDREN OF GOD.”

So often GOD reassures us that we are HIS children.  The disciples who followed JESUS knew of the blessing of HIS calm presence and we can experience that too.  They knew they were chosen and loved by the SAVIOR of the world and so they walked in the assurance that they were loved and forgiven.  We should do this too.

COLOSSIANS 1:  12   “…….GIVING THANKS TO THE FATHER, WHO HAS QUALIFIED YOU TO SHARE IN THE INHERITANCE OF THE SAINTS IN LIGHT.”

Know today that we will one day walk with the saints who came before us.  This world is not our end and our story is not over.  

Sit with HIM this Christmas and know that HE gives you victory through our LORD, JESUS CHRIST, IMMANUEL, GOD with us!  And be assured!

1 CORINTHIANS 15:  57  “BUT THANKS BE TO GOD!  HE GIVES US THE VICTORY THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.”
