Let’s remind ourselves that on this very morning, this Sunday in June 2025, that we have the LORD’S inner peace.

DON’T SACRIFICE YOUR PEACE ON THE ALTAR OF THEIR CHAOS

The world strives for the peace that can only be found with the Savior.  We can be surrounded by peace too and still have a chaotic spirit inside of us.  Our inner focus needs to turn to GOD and the peace HE gives us beyond all understanding.  Our hearts today should grieve for those who don’t have and know the LORD’S HAND of peace.

JOHN 14: 27   “PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU; MY PEACE I GIVE TO YOU.  NOT AS THE WORLD GIVES DO I GIVE TO YOU.  LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED, NEITHER LET THEM BE AFRAID.”

When our troubles are placed in the LORD’S capable HANDS, then we do experience peace of heart.  It’s a heart that knows GOD is working for our good.  Our minds are at peace just knowing that our all MIGHTY GOD has everything under control.  So no need to worry about the chaos of the world……..GOD is aware of it.  But HE wants us to live a peaceful, steadfast, and quiet life.

2 THESSALONIANS 3: 16   “NOW MAY THE LORD OF PEACE HIMSELF GIVE YOU PEACE AT ALL TIMES AND IN EVERY WAY.”

The world and people too can bring chaos into our lives.  We need to get alone with our GOD and follow HIS word daily, let HIM alone satisfy and edify our hearts for the world we face.  HE can and HE does satisfy our hearts and our minds with HIS steadfast peace, a peace that often cannot be explained, but it’s there.

Change around us can create chaos within us.  I have experienced this recently.  My Church is expanding with another campus opening and everyone deciding whether they will stay at our current campus or move to the new one.  My physical therapist who has worked wonders on my body is leaving and now I must find another one.  Even my hair stylist is gone.  Ahh!  All these changes could throw me into a chaotic frame of mind, but I refuse to go there.  Instead, I go to the FATHER of peace and continually ask for HIS HAND upon me.  I refuse to be tossed around by the world’s chaos around me.  And isn’t that what our world does to us?  Thank GOD we have a FATHER who never changes, because HE is steadfast in HIS love for us.

MICAH 7: 18   “…….BECAUSE HE DELIGHTS IN STEADFAST LOVE.”

It’s wonderful to realize that because of GOD’S steadfast love that never leaves us, that HE can be and is our one and only………certain peace!  Because we can count on the ROCK to always be there and to never leave us.

WHO IS A GOD LIKE YOU?

Today, remind yourself of this:  when all else fails, when everything or everyone around you changes, and even when the world becomes utter chaos……..HE alone is the GOD of peace.  And when HE alone is the peace of your heart, then that peace holds you and steadies you beyond anything you’ve ever known.  What a blessing we have in HIS peace!  It is a peace now and a peace for all of eternity to come.

LIVE IN HIS PEACE TODAY!

COLOSSIANS 3: 15   “AND LET THE PEACE OF CHRIST RULE IN YOUR HEARTS, TO WHICH INDEED YOU WERE CALLED IN ONE BODY.  AND BE THANKFUL.”

JOHN 16: 33   “THESE THINGS I HAVE SPOKEN TO YOU SO THAT IN ME YOU MAY HAVE PEACE.  IN THE WORLD YOU HAVE TRIBULATION,  BUT TAKE COURAGE; I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD.”
