We need one another……..it is a gift GOD gave us, to not be alone. No man is an island and no man was to ever walk alone since the beginning.
GENESIS 2: 18 “THE LORD GOD SAID, “IT IS NOT GOOD FOR THE MAN TO BE ALONE. I WILL MAKE A HELPER SUITABLE FOR HIM.”
The LORD GOD looked upon the man with compassion and HE made a helper for him……..a helper indeed! And isn’t that what we all are? True helpers?
I see that look upon your face when I ask you how you are and can I help you. Your face reveals one thing, but your eyes say quite another.
You see, we all carry around some kind of hurt. We all walk in some kind of pain. It’s a brokenness that we all carry, an aloneness and sometimes it breaks our backs.
God intended for the Body of Christ to exist to build one another up……..to restore each other to strength so that we could carry on from day to day. I’m so very thankful for those precious people GOD has put around me, aren’t you?
1 THESSALONIANS 5: 11 “THEREFORE ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER AND BUILD EACH OTHER UP, JUST AS IN FACT YOU ARE DOING.”
Share your brokenness and give it to GOD……..than watch HIM send HIS people around you to give you strength when you so need it.
We exist to glorify our GOD in Heaven, but we also exist to strengthen one another and carry one another and love one another so that we will not walk alone. Who can you walk alongside today?
When we build one another up, lift up the weak, then HE is strong! A dear friend of mine and I have noticed that when one of us is just cruising through life, the other has problems and vice versa. When one of us is weak the other is a strong arm and encouragement.
1 CORINTHIANS 12: 27 “NOW YOU ARE THE BODY OF CHRIST, AND EACH ONE OF YOU IS A PART OF IT.”
Don’t hold off on that encouragement for someone today……..because tomorrow may not come. Our words to one another build, delight and give others the strength they may need to hear, because CHRIST is in us, fighting for us and fighting for them.
Oh this life is a hard one isn’t it? But we are being hard pressed too, by CHRIST to be the strength of HIS hand when others need it, to be like the good SAMARITAN who on his journey saw a man beaten and in need. He came alongside the man and took care of him and gave him his strength………the good SAMARITAN was the strength of GOD’S hand. And we can be the strength of HIS hand too.
THANK GOD THAT HE IS A GOD OF STRENTH! AND WE CAN BE A PILLAR OF STRENGTH FOR SOMEONE IN NEED TOO.
PSALM 28:8 “THE LORD IS THE STRENGTH OF HIS PEOPLE; HE IS THE SAVING REFUGE OF HIS ANOINTED.”
We are made to help and support one another, sharing both joy and pain. Together, we find strength in God’s love and purpose.
Maxine, You Are Loved.

John 17.4 I have glorified You on earth by accomplishing the work You gave Me to do.
I love that we bring God glory when we do His work – and His work involves people.
Today we spent 4 hours with a lonely older lady. She had a yellow, legal-length piece of paper with writing on both sides, with tasks she needed help with around the house. Then she fed us a delightful dinner and we had a good chat. We think she needed the food and fellowship more than the projects, and we were all blessed the entire time. We spoke of both spiritual and mundane things, and we fed each other. We are all, I think, still feeling the warm glow God gives us when we carry out His work.
I love your post. 🥰

Thanks Kathy! You said it: WE FED EACH OTHER. What a wonderful thing for her soul and yours as well! Wish I were there at her table too! Sounds so lovely!
