Oh to think that the KING is coming!  Worthy is HE of all our praise.  KING JESUS we adore you!

GLORY TO YOU IMMANUEL, WORTHY ARE YOU O LAMB OF GOD!

HE has been called mighty, yet HE is gentle as a lamb.  Oh what a compassionate GOD HE is!

REVELATION 4: 11  “WORTHY ARE YOU, OUR LORD AND GOD, TO RECEIVE GLORY AND HONOR AND POWER, FOR YOU CREATED ALL THINGS, AND BY YOUR WILL THEY EXISTED AND WERE CREATED.”

This perfect ONE, this mighty and HOLY ONE was born in the city of David, to Mary and Joseph.  They were earthly parents that obeyed what the angels told them.  And because of their obedience, the world has seen a great light and a great love…….

LUKE 2: 30-32  “I HAVE SEEN YOUR SALVATION WHICH YOU HAVE PREPARED FOR ALL PEOPLE.  HE IS A LIGHT TO REVEAL TO GOD TO THE NATIONS, AND HE IS THE GLORY OF YOUR PEOPLE ISRAEL.”

This mighty ONE, this HOLY KING is different from other earthly kings, HE is different because HE is for all people everywhere, sinners and saints alike. 

This HOLY ONE this mighty one still wants to be near us.  HE is mighty and merciful, merciful to all who will come humbly before HIM, to all who will bend their knees before HIM and worship.

PSALM 29: 2  “HONOR THE LORD FOR THE GLORY OF HIS NAME.  WORSHIP THE LORD IN THE SPLENDOR OF HIS HOLINESS.”

The birth of this HOLY ONE is a gift to the whole wide world and is the hinge of all of history.  And because of this, HE reigns now and for all of eternity because……..

THE MIGHTY ONE IS HOLY!

So, let us shout together this Christmas Eve: 

GLORY TO YOU, IMMANUEL

WORTHY ARE YOU, O LAMB OF GOD.
